The National WWII Museum

I was in New Orleans for a work related conference in the Summer of 2016 (the keynote speaker at that conference was Gary Kasparov who was really focused on how bad Putin was for the world, btw), at the end of the week my co-worker and I fit in a trip to the National WWII Museum.

You can visit the museum’s website for more info.

The museum is full of well done exhibits that tell visitors not just about the conflict and weapons, but also plenty of cultural information about conditions at home and the industrial effort behind the winning the war.

I thought they did a good job of building exhibits to educate as well as just showing off restored WW2 equipment.

It was a great way to spend a few hours between the time our conference ended and when we needed to leave for the airport.
